We all know the signs . The wind picks up. You see the bottom of leaves. The sky turns black, and of course the rumbling. The rumbling thunder and flashes of lightening that warns us there’s a storm coming. We all know the signs...

Perhaps that’s the reason we innocently thought there was nothing out of the ordinary that night. Maybe it was the happy childhood memories that stirred our imagination. Whatever the reason, none of us were concerned when the Black Spider Side Show rolled into Crow Hollow lead by its owner, Dr. Dark.

As innocent children watched, the tent was hoisted upward exposing its sides covered with beautifully painted banners. Each one more extraordinary than the last headlining the stars of the sideshow that waited inside. There was Zalfiro the fortune teller, professor Larvos and his maggot babies, the man eating chicken, freaks and many more unpleasant spectacles of life. And a new attraction, a first for a sideshow, Dr. Dark proudly presents his demented, demon clowns.

The legend of the side show has been known for its mysterious, yet enticing demeanor, its feelings of denial and desire. A hypnotic spell seems to be cast over the townspeople and with the black spider’s sudden departure, many vanish with them. But, now that is just a legend.

So, Come one, come all! step right up to the greatest side show on earth! Now don’t be afraid...
