Natasha Price, Prisoner X's mother, was a true debutant in the public's eye. She always wore the most extravagant furs. What wasn't known, was that she prepared her furs personally. Natasha had an obsession with taxidermy. She would acquire the animals alive through the sport of trapping. Before the animal was tortured to death, she would extract its eyes. She was fascinated with the eye. Eyes were the window to the soul. She felt in death the glimmer of the light left the eye. By extracting the eye before the animal died it captured its soul.

Natasha grew up in Crow Hollow. She lived in the Blood Manor with her parents and her elderly Aunt Dahlia. A tragic accident left Natasha blind and orphaned. She spent the remainder of her childhood and early adolenence in complete darkness and under the guardianship of her abusive Aunt Dahlia. She confided in her childhood friend, prison guard Lawrence Peterson. Lawrence truly loved her and would give her anything she desired.

At age sixteen Natasha devised a plan to get rid of her abusive Aunt Dahlia. She hinted to Lawrence how much happier they could be if it was just the two of them. The next morning her aunt was found dead of unknown causes. The young companions resided in the mansion alone living off the family fortune.

At the age of 19, a chemist named Thaddeus Preston was attracted to the young blind woman's beauty while shopping in the local market. The two made acquaintances and soon became friends. Thaddeus vowed to restore her sight. With the help of his trusted friend Dr. Victor Lockwood they tried to extract the eyes from the recently deceased with unsuccessful results.

Dr Lockwood was a Botanist and Paleontologist, famous for his extravagant Nightshade Greenhouse; however he was not a surgeon. Thaddeus thought they needed someone alive, someone with beautiful eyes. One night he crept into his mother's room, sedating her and extracting her eyes. That evening Natasha would undergo surgery. She begged the doctors not to dispose of her blind eyes. After several hours the surgery was over. Success would not be known for several weeks as bandages covered her beautiful features. Thaddeus's mother was left to die a painful death alone and in darkness. Natasha recovered at home.

In a matter of weeks the bandages were removed. Removing the bandages, Natasha screamed in pain stating she could only see shadows. Thinking they were the ghost of her Aunt Dahlia, she suffered from excruciating headaches and terror. The pain was so great she fainted. When she came to she could see her long time friend's face. Time went by and her vision improved with each day but her headaches increased. She called for the chemist that made her sight possible. She was finally ready to see him.

Thaddeus arrived and was even more attracted to her beauty. Natasha was instantly attracted to the chemist . This was apparent to her long time companion Lawrence who hastily left town. Natasha and Thaddeus talked for hours that day. He handed Natasha a small pill box. She carefully opened the box and was shocked to find a glass enclosure with her eyes mounted inside. She gazed deeply into the lifeless eyes and experienced excruciating pains in her new eyes. The box fell to the floor and shattered.

Thaddeus spent months trying to suppress Natasha's crippling pain without success. He began exhausting research on his pain serum PX-19. As time went by Natasha was given small amounts of PX-19. Although it made her hallucinate she was immune to her pain. Over time she returned to the Blood estate and carried out her horrific taxidermy experiments and lost touch with Lawance and reality. She married Thaddeus and began extracting eyes from animals large and small.

Years later Lawrence visited to give his old friend Natasha good news. He had become warden of the nearby Crow Hollow Prison. He found the door unlocked and entered cautiously. What he found was shocking... Natasha was in a room used for her sick obsession. She was sewing human skin to complete a human specimen. The wall behind her displayed jars of eyes. There were bodies piled on the floor. Natasha was arrested, tried and convicted. Although pregnant, she was sentenced to death. She carried the fetus for 4 months. There are no records, but it is rumored that she gave birth to a 10lb baby boy. The infant ate its way out of her womb and she died an excruciating death.
